Volunteer
Afro-Innovation Group is a registered charity and equal opportunity employer. We were formed by volunteers to meet specific needs of social and ethnic minorities within the local community, YOUR local community.
Since coming together in 2006, we have not only provided support to each other and resolved important issues, but have managed to provide the same service for many more people in the City and County of Leicester. We could not have achieved all that we have if it were not for the many volunteers who have worked and continue to work on our behalf in the service of the wider community. Our work continues to grow and as a result we have a continual need for more volunteers to join us.
Perhaps YOU might like to consider joining us and use your own knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the wider community? No qualification is required, simply a desire to help us in our objective to help and support others, to contribute your time and your existing skills. We provide all with the training and support necessary to allow you to happily and successfully contribute to making a difference in the lives of to those who come to us for help.
Because our services are so varied and provision flexible in time to suit need, we are confident in saying we can find both a time and an area of work in which you will feel comfortable. Our work is with both children and vulnerable adults. For this reason, we do require anyone wishing to work with us to be resident in the United Kingdom, to have an enhanced CRB check and attend periodic training associated with vulnerable adults and child safety. Both the CRB check and necessary training will be provided by us at no financial cost to you.
If you would like to help us, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please take a few moments to fill in your contact details PICK BOX or contact us PICK BOX and we will discuss the possibilities and options with you.
