The Afro Innovation Group Sound Project has been an incredible journey so far! Launched to provide a creative and supportive space for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers, this initiative has allowed participants to learn musical instruments, develop their confidence and build a strong sense of community.
A Look Back at Cohort 1
Over the past few months, participants have dedicated themselves to learning guitar, keyboard, drums, percussion and vocal skills. From the very first session, their enthusiasm and commitment were evident, and as the weeks went on, their confidence and abilities flourished.
Through the guidance of our tutors, each student made significant progress. We saw growth not only in their technical skills but also in their ability to express themselves through music. The supportive environment encouraged friendships, creativity and self-belief.
We extend a huge thank you to our tutors for their commitment, patience and encouragement. Their expertise has been instrumental in helping students discover their musical potential and build their confidence.
